The Boudoir

The clinking sound of glasses signifying a toast made with $10,000 wine doesn’t sound much different than when it’s done with the stuff from a box, but it’s the taste that separates the two and the men and women filling the opulent room all feel like they have an abundance of taste.

A known “Gentleman’s club” located in the more upscale area of New York; the Boudoir is a Members/Invitation Only club that caters to both men and women of high class that wish to relax and unwind. Set up for maximum privacy the entrance opens into a large reception area, tastefully done, with plenty of seating and small tables. A bar serves drinks and appetizers to those waiting to be called up to the desk. There, a row of attendees gathers waiting to escort you through the door past the desk and into a multi-door room. Each person or party is escorted to their destination before the next group to make sure that their privacy is maintained. For the most part what lies behind each door is fairly tame. Behind one is a massive open room with couches and overstuffed chairs where people can drink expensive liquids and smoke equally expensive cigars. Behind another a 5 star restaurant, another a topless bar, etc. A similar maze of hallways masks which room someone exits from and they are lead out the side where their car is parked or is waiting with the valet. The establishment is open 24/7 and there is always a line outside for those who wish to dine at the restaurant but the other rooms are typically invitation only or to members who do not have to wait in line.
